Japanese Knotweed Removal in South Norwood, SE25
Japanese Knotweed removal and advice by Local Chartered Surveyors and PCA members covering South Norwood, SE25 and the surrounding areas.
Interesting fact about South Norwood… The Croydon Canal ran from New Cross to the site of West Croydon station. As it passed through South Norwood, pubs sprang up near its course. The Jolly Sailor still stands at the intersection of South Norwood Hill and High Street. The Ship, a few yards to the east, was beside the loading point for bricks from a nearby brick field across what is now High Street. The passageway through which bricks passed to the canal is still there. The Goat House pub (which has since been demolished) was said to have been named after an island in the canal on which goats were kept.
As the only Japanese Knotweed removal company and consultancy in the UK regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and to hold full Property Care Association (PCA) accreditation, CYB Environmental are the most trusted company in the treatment and removal of the non-native Japanese Knotweed.
Japanese knotweed (Fallopia japonica) and its hybrids are a non-native, invasive species of plant. Since it was introduced into the UK as an ornamental garden plant in the mid-nineteenth century, it has spread across the UK, particularly along watercourses, transport routes and infested waste areas and of course private gardens.
