Interesting fact about Mill Hill … The lexicographer James Murray started work on the first Oxford English Dictionary in 1879, whilst teaching at Mill Hill School. He had a building built in the school grounds to house the quotation slips and his small editorial staff. Murray called this building his scriptorium, when the project moved to Oxford the building was used by the school as a reading room.
Japanese knotweed (Fallopia japonica) is a non-native, harmful species of plant. Since it was introduced into the UK as a pretty garden plant in the mid-nineteenth century, it has spread across the UK, especially along watercourses, transport routes and waste areas.
CYB Environmental is the only Japanese Knotweed removal company to be regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and to hold full Property Care Association (PCA) approval (from an organization). Something that we are very proud of.
