Japanese Knotweed Removal in New Southgate, N11

Japanese Knotweed removal and advice by Local Chartered Surveyors and PCA members covering New Southgate, N11 and the surrounding London areas.

Interesting fact about New Southgate…  Friern Hospital (formerly Colney Hatch Lunatic Asylum) was a psychiatric hospital in Colney Hatch. The asylum was opened on 17 July 1851 by Prince Albert and was officially referred to as the Second Middlesex County Asylum.  At the time of construction, the asylum had 1,250 beds and was the largest and most modern asylum in Europe. In 1973 the number of patients had been reduced with closure in 1993, and the building and grounds were sold to Comer Homes in 1995. The building was converted into luxury flats called Princess Park Manor

Being the only Japanese Knotweed removal company and consultancy in the UK regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and to hold full Property Care Association (PCA) accreditation, CYB Environmental are the most trusted company in the treatment and removal of the non-native Japanese Knotweed. This is something we are extremely proud of.

With our head office located in Deptford, London with satellite offices in Bristol and Cardiff, we are perfectly located to serve New Southgate, N11 along with the rest of London, and Home Counties.

We proudly provide a 5 year guarantee (free of charge) with all of our treatment programmes. A 10 year insurance backed guarantee can also be provided.

The majority of the UK major lenders will refuse to lend against a property if their surveyor identifies Japanese knotweed at a property you are purchasing, selling or even re-mortgaging, particularly when located within seven metres of habitable space.

We have Chartered Surveyors (full members of the RICS) and Valuation Surveyors in house currently working for the majority of the UK major lenders, which makes us perfectly placed to deal and act upon the lenders individual requirements to ensure they are able to lend against the property, providing piece of mind!

Although requirements will vary from lender to lender in the UK, in practice, lenders will typically request evidence of an initial treatment and a commitment by the owner/purchaser of the property to fund in advance the treatment programme along with a 10 year insurance backed guarantee.
